SEEKING DRIVER TO WORK OUT OF EITHER OUR FELIXSTOWE OR RAINHAM DEPOT

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a dedicated individual who can operate a truck with professionalism and care, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.
With several locations throughout the UK and plans of expanding, we are a highly successful and sought after business and have no intention of slowing down.
Currently, we are seeking to recruit additional drivers to work out of either Felixstowe or Rainham.
This would be involving loading and delivery of bulk liquids; hazardous and non-hazardous.

Duties
* Operate trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
* Communicate effectively with planners and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
* A current HGV Class 1 License
* A valid ADR in tanks
* Driver CPC and Digital Tacho
* Proven experience as a delivery driver in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
* Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
* Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Shifts are Monday to Friday, with some weekend work possible. Early starts and nights out are necessary.
