Job Title: Student Advisor Leading Oil Company
Length : 1 year Contract
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000pa - £50,000pa
We are delighted to be working with a leading oil company that is seeking an experienced Student Advisor to join their brand-new student centre in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional to play a key role in supporting company-sponsored students across the UK and Europe.
As a Student Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for students, helping them with their academic, professional, and personal development, while also acting as a trusted mentor throughout their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting orientation sessions for new students
Providing guidance, mentoring, and career path advice
Recommending professional and personal development opportunities
Building strong relationships with universities across the UK and Europe
Liaising with university admissions teams to assist with applications, placements, and development programs
Maintaining accurate student records and databases
Reporting on student performance and progress
Monitoring academic policy changes and alerting both students and the company as appropriate
What were looking for:
The ideal Student Advisor will have previous experience in student development, a solid understanding of higher education, and a natural ability to mentor and support others. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
Contract & Benefits:
Initial one-year contract with the potential to extend and move onto permanent payroll
Salary equivalent to £30,000 £50,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
Office-based role in Manchester (no hybrid working available)
9-day fortnight every other Friday off
