Full Stack Developer (Python) – Contract Role Location: Central London (office-based, 3–5 days per week) Contract Length: 6 months initially Start Date: ASAP Day Rate: £425–£450 (Inside IR35) About the Role Our client is looking for highly skilled Full Stack Developers with deep, hands-on Python expertise to support a diverse suite of applications. This is a role for developers who can hit the ground running, demonstrate strong technical maturity, and work effectively across multiple teams. You’ll contribute to a range of impactful systems including: * Customer-facing portals * Flexibility market platforms * Control-room and internal operational tools * Engineering & analytics applications Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain Python-based web applications using frameworks such as Dash or Streamlit. * Build robust, scalable backend services using advanced Python programming practices. * Integrate solutions with Azure-hosted and on‑prem systems, including applications running on Dash Enterprise. * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Docker. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - Ops, Flexibility, Network Access, Data Science, and others. * Participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and support customer‑led technical assessments (including Python coding challenges). Your Profile Essential Skills & Experience * Frontend: Experience with Python‑driven UI frameworks: Dash, Streamlit (preferred over React/Angular) * Backend: Expert-level Python programming (mandatory) * Database: Experience with Delta Tables or similar modern data lake table formats * Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub & GitHub Actions. Desirable Experience * Hybrid deployment experience (on‑prem cloud) * Deploying and maintaining Dash Enterprise applications * Knowledge of grid systems, flexibility markets, or operational systems * Familiarity with Kubernetes (a plus) If you have the relevant skills & experience, please apply promptly to be considered
