The Opportunity Are you an experienced Site Engineer with strong heavy civils experience looking to take on a major, fast-paced development?
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected main contractor delivering a £40 million new-build distribution facility in Grimsby (DN31 1LY). The project forms part of a wider programme of industrial and logistics developments that are redefining the regional landscape.
You’ll be part of a well-structured team known for delivering complex industrial and heavy civils projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Contractor Our client is an established UK main contractor with a strong track record in the industrial, logistics, and civil engineering sectors. Their approach combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out, surveying, and carrying out QA checks on-site
Ensuring all works meet design specifications and safety standards
Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the design team
Producing accurate reports and maintaining site records
Supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of works on site
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils, industrial, or commercial projects
Strong setting out and quality assurance background
Proficient with Total Station and AutoCAD
Relevant qualification (Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field)
CSCS card essential
