Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Fraserburgh based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.
We're seeking a Panel Beater to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:
* Assessing vehicles' damage and determining where and how to perform the repair work
* Stripping and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles
* Carrying out extensive repair work using various methods in a modern fully equipped Accident Repair Centre in accordance with BSI standards
* Replacing and repairing damaged panels
* Welding new panels into place
* Working to the highest standards ensuring quality of work meets customer expectation
* Carry out all work tasks in a safe and responsible manner and adhere to company health and safety policies
* Contribute to the delivery of the department's work schedule, operating in the allocated times given
* Identify and report any actual or potential health and safety-related issues
* Clean and maintain all equipment and work area
To be successful in this Panel Beater role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:
* Experience in mechanical assembly
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
* Basic computer skills for documentation.
What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary dependent on experience. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
