Communications & Digital Media Assistant
THE EMPLOYER IS: MULTI-ETHNIC SPORTS AND CULTURES NI(MSCNI)TThis is a developmental JobStart role supporting someone to gain introductory experience in communications and digital media within a voluntary organisation. The role focuses on creativity, digital confidence, and responsible online engagement.
Responsibilities
* Assist with creating simple social media content using templates.
* Support promotion of community events and activities.
* Organise photos, videos, and digital files.
* Assist with basic design, website maintenance and content scheduling.
* Learn about consent, safeguarding, and appropriate online communication.
Skills and Qualifications
* Interest in digital media, communications, or social media.
* Willingness to learn new digital skills.
* Basic IT and communication skills.
* Ability to follow guidance and work as part of a team.
* Willingness to work with and support people from diverse backgrounds, including host community members, ethnic minority communities, asylum seekers, and refugees.
* Interest in photography, design, or storytelling.
* English required for communication purposes - Additional languages will be helpful.
