Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + benefits
We’re looking for a talented Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join a dynamic and growing Building Consultancy team in London. With a strong pipeline of projects across hospitality, commercial, residential, and public realm sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take a key role in project delivery while contributing to the future growth of the team.
The Role
* Take ownership of projects, delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
* Act as a key client-facing representative, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes.
* Manage and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical and professional development.
* Lead on cost planning, tendering, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Work with a small, collaborative QS team (currently four members, including the Director).
* Support business development, with training and guidance available to strengthen these skills.
* Opportunity to bring existing clients or resources, which will be recognised and valued.
About You
* MRICS qualified (minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years post-chartership).
* Solid experience across both pre- and post-contract services.
* Strong client-facing background with excellent communication skills.
* Confident managing projects independently and mentoring junior colleagues.
* Commercially aware with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
* Business development experience is desirable but not essential.
