Do you love the idea of helping children succeed, one step at a time? As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be the steady hand and friendly face that helps pupils feel supported and confident in the classroom.
We’re working with schools across Northumberland looking for caring, adaptable LSAs to provide 1:1 and small group support. Every day is different, but every day makes a difference.
The role:
1. Supporting pupils with their learning and development
2. Assisting children with additional needs (academic, social, or behavioural)
3. Helping the class teacher create a positive learning environment
4. Encouraging independence and celebrating small wins
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience supporting children or young people (in schools, youth work, care, or similar)
6. A patient, empathetic approach
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. Flexibility and a genuine passion for education
