Our bar is a key part of the guest experience, whether they are locals enjoying an evening out, visitors exploring the New Forest, or guests staying with us. We take pride in delivering warm hospitality, expertly crafted drinks, and outstanding service. The Role We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall atmosphere of our bar. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a range of drinks, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, to a high standard. Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and engaging experience for guests. Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area. Ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all licensing laws and health & safety regulations. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with guests, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our drinks menu. Work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service. Assist in stock management, including ordering and inventory checks. About You We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a bartender in a hospitality setting. Is passionate about drinks, from classic cocktails to fine wines and craft spirits. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Is confident, proactive, and enjoys engaging with guests. Is flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
