Recovery Worker, you will support individuals accessing the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery. * Ideally you will have some experience of working with people with multiple needs including addiction, and have knowledge of residential rehabilitation and the importance of strengthening recovery capital.
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to engage with effective partnership working and to network for the benefit of the client and service
* Be willing to manage a caseload or tasks and develop organisational skills
* To work toward being proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Understand complex issues presented by people entering abstinence based residential settings
* Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
* Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
