Newstaff Employment is hiring a caring Level 3 Nursery Assistant in St Albans to support the daily care and development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Location: St Albans
Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
1. Support and supervise children in age-appropriate activities
2. Assist in delivering learning programmes alongside qualified staff
3. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment
4. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
5. Support daily routines, including meals, rest, and playtime
6. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
7. Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work effectively within a team
10. Passion for supporting children’s development
11. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
