Business Development Manager – Heating Solutions (UK Remote)
We’re supporting a UK-based renewable energy group that designs, installs, and maintains low-carbon systems for commercial clients. Their technologies include solar PV, wind, heat pumps, energy storage, and CHP, with flexible funding models such as PPAs and leasing.
They’re now scaling their commercial heating division, focusing on heat pump systems (air, ground, and water source). The business already has strong in-house design and delivery capacity; this hire will drive new projects and close commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new opportunities for commercial and industrial heat pump projects
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract close
* Lead client meetings, site visits, and proposal presentations
* Collaborate with design and delivery teams to build commercially sound solutions
* Maintain an accurate pipeline and report on performance
* Represent the business at meetings, events, and exhibitions
Candidate Profile
* Proven B2B sales or business development experience in heating, HVAC, or renewables
* Knowledge of commercial heat pump systems
* Experienced in selling to clients such as manufacturing, education, healthcare, or estates management
* Confident communicator able to build trust with senior decision-makers
* UK driving licence and willingness to travel
