Position: Business Development Manager – Fire & Security

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 a year, OTE uncapped

Position
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hungry Business Development Manager to join our great team.
The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant sales/business development role.
Ideally, you will have previous experience with fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, Access Control and other life safety systems and be fully conversant with the relevant standards. The role may also appeal to engineers who wish to make the transition into a sales/office environment.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, acting as an account manager, and assisting the Head of Business Development with quotations and tender opportunities.
Your goal is to secure appointments, seize opportunities, be target driven and build the company pipeline. The role will come with a structured career path with opportunities for advancement and development.
Requirements
· Must have at least 5 years' successful experience
· Potential for working throughout UK.
· Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
· Appropriate references demonstrating skill level.
· Full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
· Must be able to pass a DBS check.
· Positive attitude towards personal development
· Proven track record of achieving annual targets of upwards of £700k advantageous.
