Role: Night Shift Production Operative
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 5:00pm to 6:00am / 48 hours per week (4 nights)
Pay: £30,465 per annum + £1,498 annual shift allowance
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Night Shift Production Operatives to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established manufacturing business based in Hailsham.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, detail-focused, and keen to develop a long-term career in a production or manufacturing environment.
Due to the site location, candidates must have their own transport.

The Requirements:
* Good understanding of health & safety in a production environment
* Willingness to learn and follow written and verbal instructions
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Basic maths and measurement skills
* Reliable with excellent timekeeping
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Basic computer skills
* Flexible approach to working hours when required
The Role:
* Setting up machinery at the start of each shift
* Carrying out safety and quality checks during production runs
* Monitoring and optimising machine performance
* Logging run-time and downtime accurately
* Performing basic maintenance and cleaning at end of shift
* Operating pallet jacks and relevant production equipment
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Reporting progress, issues, or hazards to the Production Manager
