Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced property lawyer to join our growing property team in Maidenhead. The role offers full-time employment with options for remote work or relocation.
The ideal candidate will handle a range of commercial and residential property matters, or specialize solely in commercial property. We welcome confident, well-presented solicitors or experienced legal executives with excellent communication skills.
The right candidate will have:
* A professional qualification (Solicitor, FILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer)
* At least 4 years of solid commercial property experience
* Strong people skills and enthusiasm for teamwork
* Good organizational, time management, and IT skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to adapt to change under pressure
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* A proven billing record
* Desire to contribute to the growth of the department
Experience in bringing referral sources and marketing interest is a plus but not essential. Self-motivated candidates comfortable working independently from home are preferred.
Despite current market conditions, our property work continues to grow, and we anticipate significant increases in conveyancing cases over the next 6-12 months. This role will support that growth.
The role may involve:
* Representing property investors (essential)
* Commercial property work
* Some residential property work, if capable
Location options include remote, hybrid, or based at one of our four branches in Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury, or Fordingbridge.
You will be part of a 27-member property team, divided into four specialized groups, including residential, commercial, property investors, and leasehold specialists.
The property investor team focuses on working with investors and developers across England and Wales, with a significant workload expected to grow in the coming years.
Salary will be competitive and based on qualifications and experience.
