We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Data Management Lead. This is a global role involving multiple lines of business and regions. The data function supports several hundred analytics professionals engaged in reporting, modelling, analytics, and data manipulation. As a result, there are significant data challenges and opportunities relating to data, analytics, modelling, and machine learning. The role offers an opportunity to shape the BCBS data delivery strategy for WPB risk. Work in a hybrid environment with a focus on delivery.
In This Role, You Will
* Drive the data strategy to implement consistent production of BCBS metrics across lines of business.
* Implement optimum data risk controls and governance required for data consumed by the Risk Reporting processes.
* Close engagement with risk users to identify and remediate data issues.
* Close engagement with business stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of their data and controls landscape.
* Work in close partnership with Technology, DAO, Architecture and Business teams to deliver on key outcomes.
* Work in close partnership with data risk policy stakeholders within the group.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
* Experience implementing controls at scale across multiple geographies within a financial services organisation.
* Strong experience handling large volumes of data within an enterprise‑level organisation and managing large data transformation projects.
* Experience in the implementation of BCBS239 regulation.
* Team management experience, especially evidence of successfully managing offshore resources.
* Ability to distil, synthesise complex and varied data into actionable insights and recommendations.
This role is based in Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Chester, Edinburgh.
