Teaching personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Kettering to recruit a full-time Science technician to start as soon as possible. The Role - The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Science department by preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and well-organised laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities - Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for science lessons. - Supporting teachers during practical experiments. - Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and stock. - Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. - Assisting with general administration within the science department. The ideal candidate will - Have experience working in a school laboratory or similar environment. - A backgorund ot strong interest in Science. - Good organistional and time-management skills. - The ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
