Overview
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Validation Assistant to join the Planning Support which handles the administrative and technical processes involved in the submission, registration, validation, notification and determination of planning and related applications as well as various tasks associated with planning appeals. The role is varied and will require an adaptable and enthusiastic attitude to enable the delivery of a high quality service.
The successful candidate will be an administration professional with sound knowledge and proven experience of using a document management system and all Microsoft Office products. The right person will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have extensive experience of dealing with members of the public as well as being able to deal with developers and planning agents, and be a good organiser able to meet set deadlines in a changing and pressurised environment.
