Job Description:
Since 2019, the Centre for Digital Trust and Society and the University of Manchester College for Interdisciplinary Learning (UCIL) have developed and delivered an interdisciplinary undergraduate course on Trust and Security in the Digital World. The course, available in 10 and 20 credit versions, provides undergraduates with knowledge and skills to understand and manage harmful consequences of digital technologies, including data breaches, privacy violations, financial crime, online harassment, and 'fake news'.
Building on this success, we are developing microcredentials that can be taken as standalone units for continuous professional development, expected to be released in 2024.
We seek a full-time Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) to work closely with course leaders Prof Nicholas Lord and Dr Meropi Tzanetakis, contributing to course development and postgraduate teaching.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. All appointments are made on merit.
Our university supports flexible working arrangements, including blended work options.
Please note we cannot respond to enquiries or accept applications from recruitment agencies.
