Salary - £28,000 to £32,000 +

Experience:
* Must have experience in completing customs entries
* We are looking for an experienced Import Operator to join our team in Felixstowe.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs procedures and ideally have experience dealing with port health matters.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handling all aspects of the import process from start to finish.
* Completing customs entries accurately and efficiently.
* Liaising with customers, shipping lines, and transport companies.
* Coordinating with port health authorities and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
* Monitoring shipments and updating customers on the status of their goods.
* Resolving any issues that may arise during the import process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Import Operator.
* Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
* Experience with port health processes is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
