Responsibilities
Responsibilities
* Management and review of Design outputs and tender packs
o Produce and update procurement schedule / plan
o Attend design and progress meetings.
o Review of 3rd party designs.
o Assist the QS in producing and defining the required scope of works
o Procurement of MEICA process plant
o Undertake technical and commercial bid analysis
o Programming and scheduling
o Review of inspection and test plans.
o Off site management of manufacturing phase of process plant orders
o Hold regular progress meetings and obtain manufacturing progress reports.
o Support the construction team and attend site as necessary
o Control of site electrical - mechanical installation activities.
o Set up and attend Factory acceptance tests
o Assist in planning.
o Produce / review risk assessment & method statements.
o Accept / issue instructions.
o Site reporting / record keeping.
o Ensure that site installation programme is adhered to or bettered.
o Maintain good working relationships with client, sub-contractors and partners
o Ensure completion and take-over of sub-contracts.
o Review and maintain P&ID's through to as-built status.
o Support asset management and Reg31 compliance procedures
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential
* Working Knowledge of Water Industry Plant and Process
o HS&E knowledge & competence
o Computer literate
o People management skills
o Good verbal & communication skills
o Commercially aware
* Experience on water/wastewater plant design construction and procurement
Qualifications
Essentials
* Mechanical Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent
* CSCS card or equivalent. and EUSR Card
* Full Driving licence
* Evidence of safety training i.e. IOSH Managing Safely or CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme or equivalent
