The Role
Are you an experienced and passionate Podiatrist ready to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and forward-thinking clinic? South West Podiatry is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Podiatrist to join our growing team in South Yorkshire. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based podiatric care while working closely with fellow podiatrists, massage therapists, and external referrers to support the continued development of our independent practice.
This role is ideal for a clinician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, confident in managing both MSK and non-MSK caseloads, including nail surgery and complex foot and lower limb conditions. A strong interest in biomechanics and musculoskeletal podiatry is highly desirable.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
* Deliver expert podiatric care across a mixed MSK and non-MSK caseload
* Perform advanced treatments including nail surgery, SWIFT, Laser Therapy, orthotic manufacture, prescription writing and 3D gait analysis
* Utilise 3D biomechanical assessments and gait analysis for MSK patients
* Diagnostic ultrasound and injection therapy experience is desirable (training may be available)
* Conduct high-quality patient consultations and develop individualised treatment plans
* Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation, utilising AI systems where appropriate, in line with GDPR and regulatory standards
* Participate in clinical governance, standardised procedures, risk management, and infection control
* Work towards agreed KPIs while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care
Non-Clinical Responsibilities
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
* Attend and actively participate in team meetings, clinical audits, training and reflective practice
* Support marketing, networking, and patient engagement activities
* Assist in the supervision and development of graduate podiatrists and students
* Keep up to date with current research, guidelines, and advancements in podiatry
* Work closely with administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient journey
* Ensure appropriate decontamination of instruments during clinical shifts
