Job Responsibilities
Part Time - 22 hours per week, over 4-5 days, Permanent. Based at The Bottle Yard Studios, Whitchurch Lane, Bristol BS14 0BH. Bristol Film Office is Bristol City Council’s filming facilitation and permissions service. You will provide administrative support to the team and act as a point of contact for filming enquiries. Your role supports the day-to-day running of a fast-paced service, working with production clients and Council colleagues to support logistical arrangements for filming, monitor Bristol Film Office locations and other databases, filming permissions, site bookings and finance systems. The team liaises with Council colleagues and external organisations to promote a film-friendly approach, securing use of Council property and land for filming, and ensuring health and safety compliance. A high level of digital competence is required to manage databases and process filming permissions paperwork. You will manage conflicting priorities, monitor compliance of business processes, and disseminate information accurately to team members, colleagues, and clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience providing high-quality administrative support in a customer service and/or client-facing environment with excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to work as part of a busy team, juggle multiple projects, problem-solve, meet tight deadlines and respond effectively at pace.
* Strong IT/digital skills to manage databases and process filming permissions paperwork.
* GCSE or equivalent education.
