Laboratory Support Technician (Job share)
Shift Pattern: 2 Days On / 6 Days Off – This role is a job share)
Working Hours: 07:00 – 19:00
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Technician to join our team. This shift-based role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys supporting scientific operations behind the scenes.
The Role:
1. Accurately follow written instructions and protocols
2. Manage laboratory glassware: collect, clean, and reorder as needed
3. Monitor and maintain stock levels of reagents, solutions, and consumables
4. Collaborate with Scientists and Management to fulfill supply requests
5. Operate and maintain the lab’s VMI ordering system
6. Independently manage daily tasks with minimal supervision
7. Keep laboratory and storage areas organized in line with 5S principles
8. Ensure all activities comply with EH&S standards, Risk Assessments, and COSHH guidelines
9. Raise SOSs/PSBs and contribute to their resolution and closure
10. Use EDMS to print GMP-compliant documentation
11. Uphold GMP standards and maintain personal training records
12. Understand and apply corporate standards, site policies, and Zydis behaviours
13. Complete any additional tasks reasonably assigned by Management
14. Provide clear and timely shift handovers to ensure continuity

18. Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines
