Dynamics 365 Developer - Solihull - 6 Month Contract
As a Dynamics 365 Developer (primarily Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance our business processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of Dynamics 365 applications.
Key attributes include excellent collaboration and communication skills, as this role demands constant interaction with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and key stakeholders.
The Dynamics 365 Developer reports to the Complex Case Management Team DevOps Lead.
The role will have a close working connection with IT teams, partners/third parties, operational teams, and service management.
Key accountabilities
1. Agile Practices: Support and participate in agile-based product development ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
2. Solution Design and Development: Lead the design and development of custom solutions within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, ensuring they meet business needs and align with best practices.
3. System Integration: Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
4. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications to meet specific business requirements.
5. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
6. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications within the ITIL IT Service Management framework.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and integration activities.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (CRM, Customer Services, Sales, and Marketing).
* Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages), including Application Lifecycle Management.
* Familiarity with Azure Services.
* Experience working with DevOps practices.
* Understanding and management of enterprise-sized Dataverse instances.
* Expertise in tools like XRM Toolbox.
* Security clearance or ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
* Experience with omnichannel customer service solutions.
* Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Field Service & IoT.
* Experience migrating extensive datasets into Dataverse.
