Primary Objective Of The Job
Our Customer Host Supervisors support the team in delivering an amazing customer experience. You will work alongside the Shop Manager to deliver excellent shop commercial, visual and operational standards and to support the development and training of your team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll report to the Shop Manager and sit within our Retail team.
Responsibilities
* Customer Experience
o Lead by example and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service in line with our A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable) throughout the Customer Journey.
o Promote and compile customer information, in line with data protection regulations, when completing purchases and drive email conversion and sign ups.
o Introduce customers to, and champion multichannel shopping through endless aisle orders.
* Product Presentation and Visual Standards
o Maintain high visual standards in-store.
o Support floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
o Understand features (fits, style, fabrics) of our product ranges, promote these within the team, and explain to customers.
* Commercial Management
o Make commercial decisions and be proactive with stock, promotions, and opportunities to drive sales.
o Coordinate promotions, incentives and key trading weeks including Customer Events, seasonal setup, sale launches and promotions.
o Understand and communicate the shop’s KPIs to the team.
o Lead team briefs in management absence to ensure the team is informed and motivated to achieve targets.
o Continuously improve team performance.
* Team Management
o Organise and support shop operations through staff management processes (e.g., Rotageek).
o Engage with customers using company resources and ensure daily/weekly actions are completed.
o Foster a positive shop environment focused on delivering sales and customer experience results.
o Motivate and reward the team; live our Brand Values.
o Delegate tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations.
o Identify priorities and balance tasking with customer service.
o Train and develop the team; assist with wellbeing initiatives and escalate people queries as needed.
o Cascade People Team communications to the team.
* Operational Support
o Process deliveries efficiently and ensure products are replenished and available for customers.
o Supervise stock takes and audits for accurate reconciliation.
o Support with compliance and day-to-day transactional running of the shop, including paperwork, cashing up, and in-store systems knowledge.
o Understand policies and procedures; escalate operational issues and risks as needed.
o Understand Health & Safety and emergency procedures and lead during management absence.
o Support visits from internal stakeholders professionally.
o Responsible for efficient ship from store and Click & Collect processes.
o Assist with stocktake and audits for accurate reconciliation.
* Doing Good Stuff
o Be aware of our charity partner and support events or charity promotions.
o Understand ethical sourcing and environmental impact to explain this to customers and the team.
