Qualifications & Requirements
* Age 22 or older (Ofsted regulation)
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
* At least 2 years experience in residential childcare and working with young people
* Valid manual driving licence
Responsibilities
* Teach and build self‑esteem, help children journey into adulthood in a non‑judgemental environment.
* Create positive relationships, meet needs and safeguard children at all times.
* Engage with a variety of children, including those requiring high supervision and support.
* Supervise staff, lead shifts, manage policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas and ensure placement plans and education support are followed.
* Guarantee welfare and care of each child, guide and support all residential workers.
