Our client has a large manufacturing facility based in Rochdale and they are looking for hard working individuals to join their manufacturing team. They are a global company and work with clients who have their machines across the world, this role would be responsible for their machinery on site. The successful person must come from a CNC background and be confident in fault finding and servicing of a range of machinery. Job Responsibilities Carrying out the servicing, maintenance and upgrades to the machinery. Reacting promptly to minimise the down time. Diagnosing the problem and resolving any issues as required. Ordering parts and components as required for the repairs. Providing support to the rest of the manufacturing team. Interpreting engineering / technical drawings. Liaising with the manufacturing teams to plan in maintenance and keeping a log of all works carried out. Following company protocol and adhering to all health and safety. Job Requirements Must come from either a CNC milling or grinding background. Confident fault finding and problem solving. Experience with most Microsoft packages. Ideally would drive and have their own transport. Hours: They operate a 2 shift rotation which would rotate on a weekly basis. Week 1: Monday – Thursday 5:45am – 2pm & Friday 5:45am – 11:45am Week 2: Monday – Thursday 9:35am – 6pm & Friday 8am – 1:40pm Our client offer some very attractive benefits which include 6% employer matched pension, DIS 4x Salary, 33 days holiday (inc stats) increasing up to 38 days (inc stats) Service Recognition Scheme.
