About the Role
Roads are a fundamental component of the built environment and WSP’s unparalleled experience in Roads and Highways helps craft projects for tomorrow’s needs by rethinking the way commuters travel across the UK and Ireland. Our roads design and technical assurance skills, together with our integrated behaviours, drive excellence in complex multi-disciplinary projects and frameworks at regional and national levels.
As a Graduate Engineer in the Roads team, you would be helping to deliver National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks to major projects and local improvements including a wide variety of active travel walking and cycling schemes. We work in collaboration with many clients on both a local and national level and our work covers a range of activities at all stages of infrastructure delivery, for a wide range of public and private clients.

Graduate Development Programme
Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. What Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
* Completed the application form in full, answering all specific questions and passing the online skill enabler assessment
* Looking to start work in either April or September 2026
* Having a passion for engineering and an enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving
* Willingness to inspire with new ideas and share them with your team
