Mortgage Administrator Manager – Bristol (Hybrid) This is an opportunity for a skilled mortgage administration professional to take a senior role, driving the efficiency and compliance of a busy brokerage. You will lead a dedicated team, overseeing the entire mortgage pipeline to ensure a seamless journey for every client from application to completion. The role As the Mortgage Administrator Manager, you will be at the heart of the firm’s operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the administration function, ensuring the smooth and compliant processing of all mortgage cases. You will own the case life-cycle from submission to completion, working closely with Directors, brokers, lenders, and solicitors to maintain momentum and uphold the highest standards of documentation quality, in line with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. Key responsibilities ● Lead, mentor, and manage the daily workloads of the mortgage administration team. ● Take full ownership of the mortgage case lifecycle, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks to ensure timely completions. ● Ensure all case files and documentation are accurate and fully compliant with regulatory standards. ● Act as the key liaison between advisers, lenders, solicitors, and clients to keep all parties informed and engaged. ● Monitor the administration pipeline, producing regular progress reports and updates for the Directors. ● Conduct audits of case files to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency. What you’ll bring Must-haves: ● At least five years of mortgage administration experience gained within a mortgage brokerage. ● A strong, practical understanding of mortgage products, application processes, and compliance requirements. ● Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage your time effectively. ● Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels. ● Proficiency in using CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite. Nice-to-haves: ● Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role. ● A CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
