Vivienne Westwood is looking for a UK Logistics Assistant to join the Stockroom department on a full-time basis on a one-year fixed term contract. The sucessfuul canndidate must be able to work 3 days in Lutterworth, Leicestershire and one day in our Merton, South London office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting the 3PL UK and Asia Logistics Supervisor in the Preparation of inbound and outbound seasonal forecasts, for Jewellery and cross-docking, to be supplied to the 3PL UK warehouse before the start of the season.
2. Inbound goods supervision: direct shipments (Jewellery suppliers), cross dock shipments, Hallmarking goods shipments, and communicating of any discrepancies to suppliers and the JWL operations team.
3. Must have a valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.
4. Monitoring and restocking of raw materials (e.g. packaging, tape, cartons).
5. Monitoring of incoming cross-docking shipments.
6. Communication of priority picking to the warehouse and monitoring KPIs.
7. Monitoring of picking status and any problems to be solved with the warehouse.
8. Supervision of booking status, shipments, and transport.
9. Support to the 3PL UK and Asia Logistics Supervisor in monitoring the performance of warehouse activities, compliance with KPIs and correctness of warehouse and transport invoices.
10. Support to the 3PL UK and Asia Logistics Supervisor, old stock transfer and warehouse closures.
11. Communication of shipment data (jewelry and cross-docking) to the warehouse for releasing the goods.
12. Regular visits to the Lutterworth based Warehouse, to check ready goods, stock levels and line checks.
13. Monitoring shipments and intervening in case of any issues.
14. PODs supervision.
15. Weekly meeting with customer service to monitor shipments and resolve any problems (booking, delays, shipping discrepancies).
16. Attend and contribute to weekly department meetings.
PROFILE & KEY SKILLS
17. 2+ years experience in Logistics and Supervising 3PL warehouse.
18. Courier and Customs knowledge.
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
20. Knowledge and experience using SAP is desirable.
21. Strong communication and organisation skills.
22. Must be available to travel to the Lutterworth based Warehouse at least 3 days a week.
