MCS Group is looking for an IT Support Engineer for a 6-12 month temporary post in Belfast City Centre! As IT Support Engineer, you will play a hands on role in the day to day support of software and systems for our client. This is an on-site position in the Belfast area, so is ideal for someone who wants to avoid the Belfast commute! The Position: Providing first to second line IT support, including resolving in person requests, tickets and also Email requests. Setting up new user accounts and configuring hardware (including Android devices and modern printer systems). Supporting internal projects such as asset management and cloud backups. Managing MacOS, Active Directory and Office 365 environments. Assisting with change management requests and system upgrades. The Person This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach, confident working across a range of IT support tasks. Experience in IT support, including Active Directory and Office 365 is essential. Knowledge of modern printer systems and cloud backups. Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on excellent customer service. Strong technical foundation in a BYOD environment, mainly in MacOS. Familiarity with asset management systems. Salary: £25-30,000 per annum. Hours: 37.5-hour working week There is potential for this role to transition into a permanent position in the future.
