Responsibilities
* Play a key part in migrating our platforms from our own servers to the cloud. This will give you hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-code to build and manage environments automatically and Azure DevOps for creating automated pipelines that build and release software. You’ll also work with Docker and Kubernetes to run applications in containers, and use PowerShell and other scripts to automate tasks.
* Work with both Windows and Linux servers, as well as SQL databases. Learn how our applications are built using the .NET Framework and C#, gaining a solid understanding of the entire development lifecycle.
* Help project teams use our cloud environments efficiently and collaborate with in-house security and auditing teams on migration projects from day one.
* Role based at our Leicestershire Head Office in a fast-paced, encouraging and supportive environment focused on delivering for our customers and careers.
About you
* On track for a 2:1 or higher in a degree, or Master’s degree that includes a 12-month placement, covering cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), CI/CD, Containerisation and IaC (Infrastructure as code).
* Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude to handle new challenges.
* Ambition demonstrated through a passion for analytical and programming skills and commitment to building a great career.
