Sous Chef – River – Europe
Part of our galley team on our River vessels, the Sous Chef ensures outstanding food quality, supports budget goals, creates guest‑oriented culture to increase revenue and profitability. The Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef.
What You Will Do On Board
* Prepare and distribute daily meals for guests and crew
* Ensure compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards
* Assist with ordering food supplies within budget
* Supervise, train, and motivate galley team
* Conduct stock takes and inventory management
* Support the Executive Chef in departmental meetings and onboard training programs

About You (Qualifications)
* Culinary school graduation required, hospitality degree preferred
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in upscale cruise or hotel industry, at least 1 year in a similar position
* Fluent in English with excellent oral communication skills
* Maintains confidentiality and impeccable hygiene standards
* Flexible, team player, guest‑focused with a positive and professional demeanor
