Overview
Head Chef - Manchester (Virgin Media O2 Site). Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Salary: £30,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Unit Manager in managing the onsite team to ensure compliance with HR, HSE, Profit Protection, PCI, and stock control
* Control wastage and manage menu planning with a focus on achieving a 40% Gross Profit (GP)
* Monitor “Did we make you smile” scores with a target of 10% monthly improvement
* Manage stock taking and ensure Nexus accounts remain compliant
* Lead and work collaboratively within the team to deliver excellent service
* Maintain understanding and implementation of Food Management Systems, HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Natasha’s Law, Allergens, and Manual Handling
* Commit to WELL standards or undertake training to ensure adherence to WELL guidelines
Requirements
* Proven experience in B&I contract catering
* Strong skills in stock and wastage control, working towards achievable GP targets
* Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
* Detailed knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
* Commitment to delivering high-quality food and customer service
