Duties
1. Carry out general plumbing and heating tasks to repair leaks, Heating Faults and clear blockages within Commercial pipework.
2. Repairing and maintaining heating systems and associated pipework / plumbing across client sites
3. Planned Servicing of heating systems and associated pipework / plumbing and sanitary ware across commercial sites
4. Planned servicing / PPM checks on commercial sanitary systems and components
5. Installing gas/ oil boilers heating systems and associated pipework
6. Replacing pipework/ repairing leaks on faulty or old parts
7. General plumbing/remedial works to heating systems and sanitary systems (including but not limited to: fitting magnetic filters, installing and maintaining boiler houses and their connections, fitting room stats, timeclocks and/or programmers, replacement of radiators, valves, two ports, three ports etc)
8. Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
9. Liaise on an on-going basis with Supervisors, Managers and team members.
10. Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
11. Respond to emergency calls for repairs and perform work as required
12. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
· Completed recognised National Craft Certificate Apprenticeship
· OFTEC Registered
· Relevant ACS, OFTEC or current ACOP's equivalent qualifications
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
· CCN1, CEN1, WAT1 & LPG, CKR1 and HTR1, OFTEC (Permanent dwellings)
· Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Willingness to work flexible hours, as required
· Full UK Driving License Experience
· Fire Safety Trained
· Training in patient confidentiality & appropriate behaviour.
· Infection prevention & control for hospitals.
· Asbestos awareness training.
· COSHH Awareness
Desired Qualifications:
· PASMA Scaffolding Training
· IPAF MEWP Training
· Commercial Gas qualification
· IOSH/NEEBOSH
