Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work in this close knit team, supporting the Management Accountant, and your duties will include:
Prepare management accounts to review stage, including supporting schedules and variance analysis
Post journals and reconcile month-end balance sheets and bank accounts
Manage VAT return compliance and validation
Use Sage 50 / Sage 200 for ledger transactions
Prepare monthly client reporting packages
Support process and system improvements within the finance function
Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects
To be successfully considered for this role you will bring the below skills or experience:
Exposure to management accounts (accruals, prepayments, journals etc)
Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
AAT qualified, CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Logical problem solver with an enquiring mind
High attention to detail and accuracy
