Seven Social Care is looking for a Residential Support Worker at a private Children residential services in Shropshire
The role:
The Support Worker must be able to work independently, communicate effectively with both supervisors and young people, and be capable of interacting positively with all members of the community, including residents, families and guests.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is capable of working off of detailed instructions in order to complete tasks and support young people achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored and focused support to traumatised children and young people
Help with independence skills
Align with the ethos and morals of the company
Remain calm and consistent in challenging situations
Talk with other employees about care plans and work goals
Demonstrate professionalism and patience when dealing with young people, professionals, and families
Be adaptable and consistent in the delivery of care
