Customer Assistant - Fashion, Home & Beauty - Cambridge

Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where you'll champion stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We're looking for passionate and fashion-forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation.

Work Pattern

* Week 1: Monday 11:00 – 20:00; Thursday 11:00 – 20:00; Friday 11:00 – 20:00; Saturday 11:00 – 20:00
* Week 2: Sunday 11:00 – 19:00; Monday 12:00 – 20:00; Thursday 11:00 – 20:00; Friday 11:00 – 20:00

You’ll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our newest fashion items. Through remarkable service you’ll ensure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.

* At M&S, ready to roll up your sleeves, work hard, and go above and beyond every day.
* Being digitally confident with tools like the Sparks App and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience.
* Ensure efficiency and effectiveness; keep customers moving and satisfied.
* Be a team player who helps create an inclusive store environment and supports colleagues and the local community.
* Flexible to work across various areas of the store to adapt to changing demands.

Purpose

To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks while championing and promoting our products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.

Key Accountabilities

* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy; ensure shelves are stocked
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services
* Receive training to utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer
