The Vacancy
We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Security team at our site in Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will ensure our processes are compliant to customer contractual requirements, applicable international standards, regulatory requirements and our Company policies.
Working closely with the Security team across Debden and the wider organisation, you will support on audits, analyse performance, and help drive a strong, proactive security culture. With the Bank of England contract central to our operations in Debden, you’ll be developed into a subject matter expert so that you can support the organisation with this contract.

Key Responsibilities
Security Compliance
1. Process Audits - Ensuring that there is an audit programme that satisfies the applicable requirements and is sufficiently in depth to assess root contributors and causes of non-compliance
2. Performance Measurement - assist in measuring performance within the wider Security, HSE & Risk function, performing analysis and providing timely reports.
3. Consultation - Provide advice to process owners on the best practice methods to achieve compliance.
4. Security Breaches - Investigates and reports breaches of security as defined by policy and procedure.
5. Corrective Actions - Managing a tracker of open audit actions, both internally and externally, ensuring that actions are being closed on time and overdue actions are escalated in a timely manner
6. Integrated Management System - Operating within a management system that integrates security (as per ISO), business continuity (as per ISO & ISO) and information security (as per ISO).
Supplier and Customer Audits
Support the Security Manager in auditing both Supplier and Customer locations that are linked with our Debden site and the Bank of England Contract. Customers such as:

Bank of England Security - Work collaboratively with the Bank of England functions to support their operation and, more importantly, ensure that their processes and De La Rue’s processes work seamlessly together. Be in regular contact for security compliance and politely challenge the Bank when required.

Working hours: Days – 09:00 to 17:00 Mon- Fri with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day (37.5 hours per week)

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
8. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with the ability to demonstrate the experience of leading and managing a team of people
9. Proven problem-solving skills and techniques.
10. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Computer literate - experience working with databases and Excel or similar.
12. Minimum level - Lead Auditor Qualification (Any ISO standard, skills can be transferable)
13. Good working knowledge of ISO, ISO and ISO requirements
