Renew Construct Group (RCG) is an integrated infrastructure specialist delivering renewable energy, engineering, installations and fit-out projects. Our renewables division, EG Renewables, helps organisations transition to net zero with commercial solar PV, wind, battery storage, EV charging and hybrid off-grid systems.
We deliver projects for blue-chip clients, combining technical expertise with sustainable impact.
The Role
As Electrical Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the electrical function across commercial solar PV, wind, battery and EV charging projects.
* Oversee electrical design, including load assessments, protection systems, cable sizing and grid connection applications (G99/G100).
* Ensure compliance with UK standards (BS 7671, IEC, CDM regulations and health & safety requirements).
* Liaise with DNOs, ICPs and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and manage compliance.
* Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
* Provide technical oversight of drawings, schematics and layouts, supporting project managers and designers.
* Manage electrical engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality installations.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in electrical management within renewables, M&E, or construction.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical design, system integration and UK compliance standards.
* Strong background in grid connection processes (G99/G100) and DNO liaison.
* Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Amtech, PV*SOL or similar).
* Recognised electrical qualifications:
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
