An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated pharmacy technician has arisen within the Neath Cluster of Swansea Bay University Health Board. This post will be varied, providing you with the opportunity to work within a friendly and forward-thinking team to improve the quality of prescribing, liaising closely with GPs, community-based healthcare professionals and acute care colleagues at a time of transformational change within primary care.
Role details
Part-time position available for 27 hours a week, with flexibility considered for a suitable candidate.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with two cluster pharmacists to improve the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of prescribing within the cluster.
* Help enhance patient outcomes and reduce harm, which could otherwise lead to unscheduled care and hospital admissions.
* Collaborate with GPs, community-based healthcare professionals and acute care colleagues to support a trajectory of transformational change within primary care.
Qualifications and requirements
* Primary Care experience is desirable, but applications from those with hospital or community experience who can demonstrate the aptitude to work in a busy, changing environment are welcome.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
* Flexibility in working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
