Weev are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to manage the finance function of the business. Duties will include preparing monthly management accounts, conducting relevant cost analysis as well as assisting in business planning. Key Responsibilities Process and record financial transactions accurately, including invoices, billing, payments, and expenses. Verify and reconcile invoices and receipts with purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation. Maintain and update financial records using accounting software. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and budgets, providing accurate and timely data. Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet and P/L monthly, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. Reconciliation of high volume payment systems and processing supplier payments. Assist in the preparation of statutory Government returns including UK & Irish VAT returns, CIS, RCT and other tax compliance. Credit control and aged debt analysis. Support the preparation of year end accounts as well as audit preparation and liaising with auditors. Ensure compliance with financial regulations. Contribute to financial analysis and reporting activities, providing insights on financial performance and trends. Data Analytics of EV charging network measuring KPIs. Key point of contact for Charge Point Management Software, and all associated financial transactions and software integrations. Support with Payroll function when required. Essential Criteria Proven experience in a similar role. CAI/ATI/ACCA or equivalent qualification Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance in the UK. Desirable Criteria Working knowledge of payment systems such as Stripe. Experience from a utilities or construction sector. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Strong IT skills and working knowledge of APIs. Knowledge of payroll.
