A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Staffordshire is seeking a committed and personable Attendance Officer to join its pastoral team from January 2026. The Role You will work closely with pastoral staff, Heads of Year and the safeguarding team to: Monitor daily attendance and punctuality Make first-day calls and follow up unexplained absences Produce attendance reports for SLT and governors Meet with students and families to support improved attendance Work with external agencies where persistent absence is a concern Contribute to whole-school attendance strategies and interventions The school has a strong pastoral ethos and a consistent behaviour culture, making this a rewarding and impactful role.
