As an Associate / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality professional consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work directly with the companies clients, manage instructions from inception to completion, support business development activity,and contribute to the leadership and development of team members.

Their clients include (amongst others) commercial & residential developers, local authorities, housing associations, schools, healthcare and defence institutions. The role will require an adaptable and experienced person to manage and deliver these diverse schemes and adapt to their differing client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of Quantity Surveying services across a range of projects.
* Provide strategic cost advice, cost planning, procurement support, contract administration, and commercial management.
* Manage multiple commissions simultaneously, ensuring efficient delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
* Act as primary point of contact for clients, developing long-standing relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
* Oversee and mentor more junior team members, providing professional guidance and quality assurance.
* Prepare, review, and present reports, cost plans, tender documents, and contractual correspondence.
* Support the growth of the office through cross-selling services and contributing to new business opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with RICS standards, internal QA processes, and best practice procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* MRICS/FRICS Chartered (Quantity Surveying & Construction pathway).
* Strong PQS / client-side consultancy experience (minimum 5 years post-qualification preferred).
* Demonstrable experience managing your own instructions and clients.
* Polished communication skills, with confidence in leading meetings and presenting to senior and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage workloads, commission teams, and deliver projects independently.
* Experience mentoring or line-managing staff.
* Excellent understanding of construction contracts (JCT essential).
* Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
