About The Role
The Housekeeping Service Attendant role performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing Urban Rest properties and Hotel Rooms including bedrooms, baths, kitchens, living areas and communal spaces as directed by the Quality Supervisor. This role falls under the internal housekeeping business unit. Housekeeping Service Attendants promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems. The successful candidate should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also Urban Rest procedures/standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

* Enters and prepares the apartment/room for cleaning
* Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor
* Dusts the rooms and furniture
* Cleans kitchen and kitchen appliances including running and emptying dishwasher
* Replenishes guestroom, kitchen, pantry and bath supplies
* Cleans the bathroom
* Cleans laundry area including washer/dryer
* Cleans the closet
* Vacuums floor and rugs
* Checks and secures assigned units
* Replenish amenities according to the operational standards
* Empty trash containers
* Remove all dirty terry and replace with the clean par to the designated layout
* Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor
* Replace facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in the correct amount and location
* Inspect the condition of all linen and replace soiled/damaged ones
* Remove dirty bed linen and make up the bed with clean linen
* Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris. Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow and Peloton equipment
* Dust and polish all furniture
* Realign furniture to the floor plan
* Responsible for replenishment of guest complimentary amenities
* Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the work area
* Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. porta cots
* Ensure security of assigned units and privacy of guests
* Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, periodic cleaning etc.) as required
* Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
* Maintain positive guest relations at all times
* Be familiar with all Urban Rest services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
* Resolve guest complaints to the best of their ability or promptly report to Supervisor and/or Guest Relations team, ensuring guest satisfaction
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
* Responsible for Urban Rest property in the work area
* Attends guest feedback, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him
* Authorized to enter designated Urban Rest units for cleaning and providing drop off services as per requirement
* Responsible for following the standard operating procedures
* Responsible for actively contributing to guest satisfaction in terms of cleanliness and presentation
* Update status of units cleaned on Flexkeeping
* Return housekeeping packs, equipment and keys at the end of shift
