Job Details
* Pay: Up to £40,000 per annum
* Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (flexibility required)
* Duration: Permanent
* Benefits: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases with length of service)
Job Role
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and improving overall site performance. Duties include leading a team of staff, overseeing route planning and efficiency, allocating resources effectively, and resolving operational issues. You will also collaborate with other managers to drive consistency and continuous improvement across multiple depots.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* Proven experience in operations management and route planning
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle operational challenges
* Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel

* Previous experience within the waste management industry
