Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Sales & Commercial Support Executive for our client based in Paisley.
We are seeking a driven, versatile, and confident individual who enjoys building relationships with prospective clients. This hybrid role blends commercial support, sales coordination, project admin, and AI-enhanced research. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, supporting senior leadership, and contributing to business development through tailored proposals, data insights, and event coordination.
The role may involve occasional UK travel, so flexibility and the ability to travel is essential.
Job Description
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home), supporting senior leadership with a blend of sales pipeline management, commercial reporting, project administration, research, event coordination, and AI-enhanced tools. You’ll be involved in the preparation of pitch packs, diary coordination, meeting research, and strategic documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-ups
* Produce sales reports, market insights, and KPI dashboards using Excel, CRM data, and AI tools
* Use AI platforms to research target sectors, identify new clients, and prepare outreach materials
* Create and manage pitch packs and proposals, including sector-tailored PowerPoint slides
* Support commercial project delivery with accurate documentation and communication
* Coordinate client events, webinars, and exhibitions, including logistics and follow-up
* Arrange and manage diaries for client meetings and internal strategy sessions
* Prepare briefing notes ahead of meetings and document actions/outcomes afterward
* Track client subscriptions, renewals, and upsell opportunities
* Continuously improve sales/marketing systems using automation and AI
* Collaborate with Directors, Partners, and wider teams to align on commercial priorities
* Provide ad hoc administrative and commercial support as required
Core Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales support, commercial coordination, or business development
* Familiarity with CRM systems and AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
* Excellent research, analytical, and data interpretation skills
* Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication
* Experience in both direct and indirect sales support
Qualifications
* Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar sales/commercial support role
* Ability to work with data and research tools to aid decision-making
* Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
* Previous use of working with a MAC to create engaging content.
* Training or certification in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), Excel, Power BI, Agile, or CIM
* Experience or training in SPIN Selling methodology would be highly beneficial
* Advanced PowerPoint and presentation design training
