We are currently seeking a Machine Preparation Centre Engineer to join the team in Immingham.
This is a hands-on role focused on preparing, inspecting, and ensuring machinery is ready for delivery to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and machine preparation
* Fit attachments and extras including: Buckets, Guards, Couplers, Radios, Cameras
* Ensure all checks are completed in line with inspection and extras documentation
* Identify and report any additional work required
* Install software updates where applicable
* Accurately complete job records and input data in real time
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment
* Care for tools and equipment, reporting any defects
* Work in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
* Support team members and assist with training where required
* Attend training courses to maintain and develop technical skills
* Work overtime when necessary to meet business needs
About You:
* Qualified in:
* Plant Maintenance
* Agricultural Engineering
* HGV Mechanics
* NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds)
* Experience working with heavy plant machinery, including hydraulics and electrical systems
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Organised, reliable, and detail-focused
* Confident handling and operating heavy machinery
* Basic IT skills including systems, email, and technical documentation
* Full UK driving licence preferred
* Welding experience would be advantageous
