About the role St John's Primary School and Nursery is a nurturing, inclusive and successful primary school and nursery in the heart of Kenilworth. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, inspirational and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the Early Years team in our nursery. This is an exciting opportunity as you may have the flexibility to work across Early Years as we are looking to grow our team. As an Early Years Learning Support Assistant, you will: • Have experience working with children in EYFS and or Nursery • Hold a childcare qualification, preferably level 2 • An excellent understanding of how children learn best in a happy and secure setting • The ability to form excellent relationships with parents, carers, staff and stakeholders • Knowledge and understanding of what makes an outstanding learning environment • Have a passion for excellence and share our vision • Are highly motivated and enthusiastic • Able to contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team • Have excellent, up to date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage • Attend to children’s personal needs including assisting children’s mealtimes St John’s Primary and Nursery school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
